6. The free entry of National Museum

Starting on May 1, admission to the National Museum of Korea, the National Folk Museum of Korea, the National Museum of Contemporary Art and 11 other national museums will be free.

Visitors won`t have to pay a penny to check out some art and artifacts through the year`s end. Unfortunately, this does not apply to special exhibitions.

The free entry applies to foreigners. For more information, go to the official websites of each museum, including the national museums in Gyeongju, Gwangju, Jeonju, Buyeo, Daegu, Cheongju, Kimhae, Jeju, Chuncheon, Jinju and Gongju.

I think that this new rules are very good decision. The free entry can encourage the citizen's cultural life and their interest about the art. This rule also indicate that the Korea is proposing to the advanced nation.
