6. Simulation with special suit to target senior customers.




In order to increase senior aged customers, engineers of the Japanese automobile company, Nissan began to test their cars with a special suit that simulates the physical effects of the age of the human body. The special suit affects the articulations such as knees, ankles, and elbows. There’s also an eye glass that simulates sight problems common in elderly people.
I think it is an innovative idea to test these kinds of things in order to know more about their customer’s needs. A company that gives this much effort in researching the needs of their new target, will be able to drive a lot of customers because of the value added to their products.
