New Delhi, the heart of the world's Tibetan exile community, is suffering from the anti-China protests for the Olympic torch relay on Thursday.
The world's largest, 100,000 membered Tibetan exile community have threaten more of the protests since demonstrations that broke out first in March in Tibet. The exiles have gone on hunger strikes and shaved their heads to protest China's crackdown on protests in Tibet. More recently, about 100 Tibetan exiles tried to breach the security cordon around the Chinese Embassy on Wednesday, leaving the spray painted street, saying "No Olympics in China." Now Chinese Embassy is surrounded by barricades and barbed wire.
Now they are planning on torch run, expected to begin early Thursday, hours before the run scheduled for the 4 p.m., when the relay starts. Thousands of Tibetans reportedly were heading to New Delhi to protest and will take part in their own torch run as well.
Some exiles have said that they plan to make a more dramatic statement, trying to douse or steal the Olympic flame if possible, although they don't have specific plan.
Since China is growing economically, diplomatically and militarily in recent years, Indian government want to build good relationship with China, yet the public sympathy likes with the Tibetans, who have sought refuge in the country since the Dalai Lama fled Tibet after a failed uprising against Beijing in 1959.

It is interesting how the nationalism can effect so strongly on the worldly event. Since the occurrence in March where Tibetans were cracked down by the Chinese officials, the image of China has fallen into dump. Of course there must be many people or nations who still support China yet overall, its image must have been shaded dark. That means the Chinese products or companies harm. Surely, it is not of Chinese companies fault yet people would perceive them as dictator-types or tyrants. So, to say, as I learned in the class, political environment do huge harm on the organization’s well being.
